About
Gear reviews for people who read the spec sheet
Gamer Manual exists because gaming gear is sold the way sneakers are sold: on collaborations, RGB, and whichever streamer was paid last. The specification that actually decides whether a chair works for your body — seat depth, lumbar geometry, foam density — is printed on a spec sheet nobody markets.
We read the spec sheet. Every review and guide on this site starts with the manufacturer's published specifications, verified against the live product page, and then adds what established reviewers and long-term owners report. Where the numbers conflict, we say so. Where we could not verify something, we say that too.
What we cover
Gaming chairs, mice and mousepads, keyboards, headsets, monitors, and the desk-and-setup layer around them. We are a hardware site — we do not review games, and we do not publish deal roundups or coupon lists.
Who writes here
The site is edited by a small group of people who have spent more hours arguing about armrest width than is healthy. You can meet them on the editors page, and read exactly how claims get sourced in our editorial policy.
How this site makes money
Some outbound links route through affiliate programs, which pay us a commission if you buy something after clicking. The commission never changes what we conclude — products we cannot recommend do not get recommended, with or without a program behind them. The full mechanics are on the affiliate disclosure page.
