FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- What is Gamer Manual?
- A spec-first review site for gaming hardware: chairs, mice, keyboards, headsets, monitors, and the desk-and-setup layer around them. We verify manufacturer specifications, cite named professional testing, and summarize long-term owner reports as reports.
- Do you test gear in a lab?
- No — and we will not pretend otherwise. We are spec-first reviewers. Our value is in checking published specifications against the live product page, comparing dimensions and ratings across products, and citing the outlets that do run original measurements, by name.
- How do you make money?
- Some outbound links in review picks are affiliate links, which may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. The disclosure appears on the same screen as the links, and commissions never change our conclusions. Full mechanics are on the affiliate disclosure page.
- Do you publish deals or coupons?
- No. Gamer Manual publishes reviews and buying guides only. We do not run deal roundups, coupon lists, or price-drop alerts.
- Why do some products have no rating?
- We only publish ratings we can trace to a verifiable source. When we cannot find one, we omit the rating rather than present an unsourced number.
- How do I report an error?
- Email us via the contact page with the article and the claim you believe is wrong. Verified corrections are fixed at the specific claim and the article's Updated date is advanced.
